Today we spent the morning watching the boys play their Tball games at the BIG softball complex where Richard plays Thursday nights.
They were very excited and thought they were pretty hot stuff.
Last night they laid out their tball shirts, baseball pants and caps.
Isaac has a red soccer jersey that resembles their tball shirts and thinks it's his tball shirt and made me lay it out for him last night too! I found him snuggling with it this morning and it was the first thing out of his mouth as he sleepily stumbled out of bed!
Elijah went first...
He was only distracted by the dirt and his baseball cap a few times...a common problem for these sweet 5 and 6 year old players.
Grandma Teresa came to cheer them on too!
(The boys were very excited that she was able to make it)
Jonah was pumped that he was able to play since he has missed out on most of the season due to his injured clavicle.
Richard was able to make it too!
He and Isaac played a little catch while watching.
Isaac did very well for the 2 + hours that we were there...
he didn't get silly until the very end!
Jonah did a great job paying attention and hitting the ball
(the 7 & 8 year olds get pitched to which caused some worry for him as he hasn't practiced much)
Elijah was able to play with the "big boys" at the end when a few of Jonah's teammates had to leave early. He even hit the ball without the 'tee'!
Here are my boys!
I LOVE this picture! I wish they wouldn't grow up so stinking fast!
